DEPOSIT POLICY:
A deposit equal to 50% of your stay including taxes will be charged at the time of booking. Seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival, the remaining balance of the reservation value will be due. The credit card on file will be used unless you request a different one. Please note: For reservations at our Yorktown hotel made within seventy-two (72) hours of arrival, a full deposit of 100% will be taken at the time of booking.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Reservations must be canceled at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival for a refund. Reservations canceled less than seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival will result in forfeiture of full payment of the stay. Early departures and no shows are considered as a cancelation and are subject to forfeiture of full payment of the stay.
PETS:
The Yorktown Beach Hotel welcomes you and your dog. For $50/dog/stay (flat fee) you may bring up to TWO dogs. We just ask that you are responsible for your pet and respectful of our property and other guests. Here are a few rules:
- Due to allergy concerns, we do not allow cats to stay in our rooms.
- Dogs are not to be left unattended in the rooms.
- Dogs must be leashed or under control at all times. Any unruly pets that cannot be controlled will not be able to stay. This includes incessant barking, damaging property and aggressive behavior.
- We expect guests to clean up after their pet and properly dispose of any waste.
- All well-behaved properly leashed dogs are welcome on Yorktown Beach Hotel lawn area between the James and York buildings. Any aggressive or barking dogs (and their non-aggressive owners) will be asked to leave. Our lawn is a place for everyone to enjoy comfortably.
PROPERTY RULES:
- All Guest Rooms are Non-Smoking. There is a $200 room recovery fee for guests who do not comply in order to cover the cost of restoring guest rooms to a smoke-free condition.
- Quiet hours are from 11pm to 7am. During this time, we ask that you respect your neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. If we have to repeatedly ask you to quiet down, we will ask you to leave the property and no refund will be given.
NON-SMOKING HOTEL:
- For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests our private balconies, common breezeways and pool area are all non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas at either end of the Chesapeake Building on the ground level and between the York and James Buildings on the ground level.
DAMAGE & LOSS:
- All guests will be charged at or after departure for repairs required to return a guest room to sale-able condition if damage occurs to the room or fixtures during a stay. Additionally, guests will be assessed for the value of any items taken from the room.
LOST & FOUND:
- The Yorktown Beach Hotel is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal items. If you have an item that requires storage in a safe, contact the general manager. Should any guests lose personal belongings while staying with us, if recovered, the item will be recorded as ‘found’. The Yorktown Beach Hotel keeps records of all ‘found’ items and will make a reasonable effort to contact the guest if an item is left in the hotel’s guest room after the guest has checked-out. We will ship items back at the owner’s expense. Any items in the Lost & Found, which are not claimed within (30) days, will be donated to a local charity.
PARKING POLICY
- Due to limited parking, guests are limited to one car per room. Upon check in a parking pass will be issued that allows for parking until 12:00pm on the date of departure. Cars without valid parking passes are subject to towing at owner’s expense.
SWIMMING POOL
- The swimming pool is open seasonally from 8:00am until 8:00pm weather permitting. The pool is for registered hotel guests only.
COOKING
- Cooking in the rooms, breezeways or the balconies is prohibited. If you would like to grill on the lawn, please request permission from management.
